Introduction
Hi everyone, I’m Yi Jing from Voice In. This video is the final in our Solo-to-Team S2T Beta Programme series. It is recommended for you to watch and participate in this video with your teammates side-by-side, if that’s not possible, reach out to them and share what you have gathered here. Let’s dive right into it!
Today, we will be showing appreciation for work, whether done in solo or in a team. This session is going to be more interactive than usual, so prepare to share your thoughts. Before we get started, please grab a device - a phone or an iPad, anything with a workable scanner.
Activity - Polls
Are you ready? Let’s start with a few polls. The first question of the day is can you think of any reasons to not be a team player? You may say so many or not have any at all. I do like to acknowledge that Voice In is not discouraging teamwork in any aspects with this question but we are curious and thought to share with you what others’ thoughts are. You may relate to some of these reasons or found new ones. Please scan the QR code on screen and add in your reasons in the next 30 seconds.
Times up! Next question, do you prefer to work solo or teamwork? Again, please scan the QR code and vote in the next 30 seconds. The results are ready, we would recommend you to view them after the end of the video, but if you’re tempted, please take note of the timestamp and pause the video now.
Let’s carry on and welcome to those who returned from their results venture. We could mention and go through a list of pros and cons of solo work vs teamwork here but we thought to focus on the areas of growth. We have prepared a 2x2 grid here, the left represents solo while the right teamwork. Some of the qualities mentioned on the sticky notes can overlap between solo and teamwork and they will be placed on the bottom grids. There are in total thirteen stickies with three blanks. Let’s start from the right and work anticlockwise.
